The European training and research network on Autonomous Barges for Smart Inland Shipping (AUTOBarge) is a European research project that provides the unique opportunity to research the future of smart and autonomous inland shipping on a European level with 10 different research institutions, supported by 10 industry stakeholders.

From Hamburg, the Maritime EconomicsResearch Center from Hamburg University as well as the Logistics Initiative Hamburg, Hamburg's cluster for logistics, are involved in the project.During its project meeting in Hamburg, the AUTOBarge partners want to use the opportunity to discuss with industry and research stakeholders from Hamburg & beyond the crucial topics of the future of inland shipping.
